Hi! Im Paloma
Soy hija, hermana y madre…
… soy Latina y migrante in Germany.
I was born and raised in Argentina and currently live with my family in Berlin.
During my younger years, I trained as a photographer, focusing on social documentary. Through my work in this field, I learned the importance of careful observation in order to tell stories through images, without altering or intervening with them. Documentary photography is about capturing reality as it is, without the photographer’s presence influencing the scene.
I also began studying cultural heritage restoration at the University of Arts in Argentina, but my studies were paused with the arrival of my son, who brought a new perspective and new priorities to my life, giving it a deeper meaning.
My path as a Doula
Since my son was born in 2022, not only was he born, but a whole new version of myself was born too… a Mother.
Pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period have been, and continue to be, the most transformative and challenging moments of my life.
Rebirth as a mother brought me immense love and joy, but it also brought me face-to-face with all my shadows. I realized how important it is to be surrounded by an environment where your needs are seen, heard, and respected during this transition. I came to understand how necessary it is for all of us to change the way we view birth and postpartum.
Birth is a Rite of Passage, however it unfolds. I truly believe that it makes a difference when we feel supported, listened to, and seen with love and tenderness. It can be a deeply transformative experience, especially in the most intimate moments of this journey.
That's why I love to create an individual space for each person, where these intentions are reflected.
As your companion on this journey, I aim to build a relationship of trust and respect, where your choices are honored without judgment.
Together, we will navigate the childbirth system, clear any doubts, and explore your intuition, unfolding your inner strength.
I’m glad you’re here!
“The doula's work is not only about her physical skills, her knowledge of birthing techniques or the information she provides. Most of the time, the doula listens, does not interpret or judge.
She listens with her hands, with her ears, with the silence, with the details…”
